I ran 60 miles this week!
Monday– We had a big meeting that morning for Jake which I was a bit nervous about so I didn’t sleep much Sunday night. I woke up at 5:45am and ran 10 miles which felt fine, and the meeting went really well, so all in all it was a decent day! I slept well that night!
Tuesday– I was supposed to run 10 miles with Lora but when I set my alarm for 6 and got all ready to go, Callum woke up and wouldn’t go back to sleep. So I had to bring him along for a 6 miler with the stroller instead. KIDS. I tell ya.
Wednesday– This summer has been magical in the running with Lora department. This time I woke up at 5:40, got ready as fast as I could and left the house right away. I had coffee at Starbucks and then met Lora at 7. We ran 8 miles together. I got home at 8:30 and everyone was still fast asleep. Then I ran 3 miles on the treadmill in the garage later on because I needed to and I did those 3 miles at 7 min/mile pace.
Thursday– Squeezed in an 8 miler in the early morning before we left for Whidbey Island for the day!
Friday– I ran 15 miles before anyone got up!
Saturday– I got to meet Lora again for a run at 7am! We were only supposed to do 5 miles but we got so into our conversation that we ended up doing 6 miles.
Sunday– It’s all I could do today to make sure I didn’t go over 60 miles for the week! I pushed Callum in the stroller for 4 miles and stopped to talk to the cows. <3
