Week in Review: Famous Faces

Meghan from Clean Eats Fast Feets shows her boobs in this week’s Week in Review, so that pretty much means that anything goes now. Here’s mine (Week in Review, not boobs. You’re welcome).

Callum loves his stuffed dog so very much that we decided it would be a good idea to invest in a duplicate. The dog double resides in the laundry room cabinet and from time to time we switch it out and wash the other one. Our wit paid off because last Monday, we left Callum’s dog at Jake’s rugby game and when Freddy found him the next day he was perfectly dry and intact. Seeing as the dog spent the night at the high school, I was fully expecting the dog to come back reeking like smoke and missing body parts.

Another welcome surprise was the arrival of the two books I ordered off Amazon: Fast Girl and Hanson’s Half Marathon Method.

Well, it wasn’t exactly a surprise because I ordered them, but still. It’s exciting. I started both books and I can’t wait to talk more about them!

I got even more stuff in the mail! Skechers sent me two pairs of shoes to try out, so I’m so excited to give them each a test drive. I’ll let you know what I think, as soon as I try them. I promise.

Freddy agreed to pose beside Bieber’s photo only if I paid him $20. Don’t they look alike?!?

I made up these fun info sheets for Andrew to mail out to his clients. I’m so proud of myself! I can’t sell houses but I love helping him in any way that I can.

Katie had her dance photos done on Friday and she was required to wear a lot of makeup and have big hair. The big hair was a natural, but the makeup was a bit…new…to us. She looked so different!

The rest of the weekend was a bit of a blur. Andrew and I took Callum for a walk in the stroller to get some wine but then we came home and just went to bed. Sunday morning we got up early and watched Ethan’s soccer game and then while I ran my tempo run, the boys had their afternoon snuggle time.

Jake was here when I got home from my run, so we sat at the table and worked some life out. After we ate, and after Andrew and Callum woke up, Andrew and I cracked open a bottle of wine and had some Indian food. I was tired from the run and Andrew was all peppy from his nap, so we’re going to have to have extra sex today. Oh, darn. It’s gonna be tough.

    Ew. Justin Bieber and Chris Farley are both gross. Every time I see Bieber on an interview he comes off so douchey and like his shit doesn’t stink. Why do you always put us in the position to choose between two horrible things????

    My favorite time to have sex is when I am a bit tipsy.

      Ha ha. But yeah, tipsy sexy is great. Too tipsy and it’s not great because then I worry about things like farting or teeth.

        Yes that’s it! I can always take pictures of the plan and send them to you through FB. Unless that’s illegal or something, then I’ll make sure I do it while wearing my black pleather catsuit.

    I just read Fast Girl last month and it was amazing. I think I read it in like 3 hours on my way to Arkansas. I’m curious to hear more about the Hanson’s half marathon plan. I read (and followed) the full one a few years ago, but it was a little too much for me.

      Well, the full marathon plan is just like, whoa. I can do it, but I’m hanging by a thread. The half plan is vomitrocious. Can’t wait!

    Chris Farley without a doubt. I’m not a huge Beiber fan, although Freddy sure does bear a strong resemblance.

    That picture of Callum reminds me of Ave after she has feasted on my milk.

      I remember that milk-filled baby sleep face! I have so many photos of those. LOVE. Awe, babies rule. But then sleep rules more, so there’s that.

    I totally just ordered that Hansons book from Amazon! Like two days ago. I’m excited to get it – I think I might use it to chase down that sub-2hr half in Fall. Maybe. It scares me a little 😉

      OH GOOD! And yes, it’ll help you for SURE. Make sure you keep me posted on each workout. It’s so scary going into it but it helps having someone to talk you through it. Seriously.

    Nope never ever ever Justin Bieber!
    I have Hansons Half Marathon Method and wow do those strength workouts look tough! I remember trying some of them for my second half marathon and finishing the 2×3 miles at half pace minus 10 seconds and just feeling like whoever developed that workout was a sadist for pairing it with something like 7 miles at goal half pace later that week. But you are such a strong runner that you will be able to do it no problem! Excited to see how it goes for you 🙂
